Hannah's Baptism Day

Hannah turned eight in September and was baptized on Saturday, October 10th, 2009. She is now an official member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. She was baptized and confirmed by her uncle Doug.
This is the invitation I made for her baptism.

A picture of Hannah on her special day.
The pond in our front yard always makes a perfect background for pictures.

I forgot to take pictures before the party of the $1.29 center pieces (flowers) I purchased at Home Depot. Then I wrapped them with tissue paper and tied together with a bow. Then sprinkled leaves around the table, but by the time I remembered to take a picture the leaves were on the ground. It turned out to be a pefect day to eat outside.

We had a luncheon after the baptism at our home. We had about 25 guests. We served barbecue pork sandwiches, chicken sandwiches, pasta salad, green salad, fruit salad, fruit, and chips.

For dessert we served cakes, cheese cakes, and brownies.

We had a good time hanging out with family. Listen to Doug play the guitar and making up silly songs. Thanks to all who came to support Hannah and her decision to be baptized.

It was a special day for Hannah. I just wished she felt better. After she was baptized and we came home she fell asleep at the table and was out the rest of the day with a fever. I hope she feels better soon. She was upset when she woke up and all the guest were gone.
