Visiting Teaching idea for November

I made pumpkin spice chocolate chip muffins and wrapped them up in different packages.
This time I tried a simple recipe:
1 box of spice cake mix
1 15oz can of pumpkin
Chocolate chips
Attach a note that states just wanted to brighten your day or thanks for brightening my day!

Just add a few decorative leaves in the packaging for some festive color

Pack Meeting

Thursday night was pack meeting for cub scouts and the theme was heroes, so I made this cool flag cake. Well, I thought it was cool.

One Night In and One Night Out

Just thought I would share this deal at Albertsons this week General Mills cereal is on sale 2 for $5.00. This deal gets even sweeter, inside each box of cereal is a code for a free movie. It takes two box codes to equal one movie pass. Just go to General Mills website, plug in the codes that are located inside the box and print your movie tickets from your printer. Also when you buy 4 boxes of General mills cereal you get 2 free Red Box movie rentals. Last night we went to see the movie the Blind Side with our FREE passes. It saved us $45.00. Stock up while supplies last.

Friday Fun Night

Friday night I took the kids to Color Me Mine to explore their creative side. It was 1/2 off the studio fee night and I also had a five dollar off coupon. Technically it was 1/2 of the studio fee if you bring a date, but I won't tell the kids that. Ewe Gross! Hannah decided to make a baby plate since babies are the main topic around our house lately. Two of my sisters just found out they are pregnant and due within a week of each other. Needless to say, Hannah is so excited to have more little cousins.

Kaleb made a plate with a beach scene on it,
I didn't get a picture of his project.
I will have to post the finished project later.

We were there for a couple of hours and we sure did make a mess.
Afterwards we went to Cold Stone for some ice cream.

HALLOWEEN PARTY

I was very spontaneous and decided to leave early from school on Friday, October 30th, and drive to Henderson to visit my sister Megan and her family for Halloween. She put on a fabulous Halloween party. The kids enjoyed playing games, going on a scavenger hunt, playing wrap the mummy, a pinata, eating donuts on a string, and lots of CANDY!

Hannah had two different and adorable Halloween costumes,
but decided at the last minute to throw this on. I guess whatever makes her happy, or
I'm just too lazy to argue with her.

This game was hilarious to watch.

I did manage to get one picture of Kaleb,

but of course he had already taken off his costume.
