Hannah seems to be on a roll: won the school science fair, on honor roll, and was chosen to be student of the month. On Tuesday, March 29th, Hannah and I headed downtown to the Kern County Science Fair which was held at the Rabobank Convention Center. She was a bit nervous about going and presenting her project to the different judges. The morning started out with a few setbacks when I thought she should dress to impress and she just wanted to wear jeans and a t-shirt. So we comprised and she wore a jean skirt. We were privileged to have two guest speakers from the CSI television show. After their speech the judging began and lasted for about 2 hours. We decided to go eat lunch at slices and then have some ice cream at Cold Stone since we had a couple hours until the award ceremony. Poor Hannah was so upset when she didn't win. When Kaleb went to the science fair and he didn't win, it was no big deal, well at least he didn't show any emotion, but with Hannah it was a complete meltdown. Anyway I was able to get the frown off her face, but she was definitely not happy about it!
