I wasn't able to take the kids to the pumpkin patch this year, so Richard took them and they met their cousins there for a fun afternoon at Murray Farms. My sister-in-law Holly took pictures, I'll post as soon as I receive them.

Honor Roll
Noah has done it again, managed to stay on honor roll. I'm so proud of Noah's grades this first quarter of his junior year. Almost straight A's! He received one B for chemistry. Keep up the hard work!

Girl Scouts
Hannah joined Girl Scouts a few weeks ago and tonight they had a Halloween party. The girls carved pumpkins, ate, made crafts, and played games.
Hannah went as a nerdy hot dog.
In order to earn a cooking badge Hannah had to make a treat to share and bring the recipe. Hannah and I made these cute little owls and spiders.

What we've been up to Lately...
Kaleb is taking an exploring technology class at school this year and one of his first projects was to make a solar hot dog cooker.
Testing it out in the backyard, making sure it works!
We went to the fair this year and somehow I only have one picture to show for it!
I love this new website called Pinterest. I'm finding plenty of yummy recipes to make. This particular recipe of boneless hot wings and barbecue wings was a hit at our house.
Kaleb and I helped make bags for a humanitarian project at church. He is in the picture with the bag in front of his face.
Hockey season has started again which means we will be spending a lot of time at the Condor's games.
Preseason game October 8th, 2011
I always enjoy spending time with Noah. While Kaleb, Hannah, and Richard went to the hockey game last night, Noah and I went out for sushi, we had the Bakersfield roll and the spicy tuna roll. Yummy! Then pumpkin pie frozen yogurt at Tutti Frutti for dessert.
Noah enjoying his soup. He never wants his picture taken, I have to be so sneaky!
Been busy decorating the outside for Halloween. The kids loved the spider webs and the real spiders that attached themselves to the fake webs.
Feels like fall around here!
American Girl
To continuing celebrating Hannah's 10th birthday she wanted to go purchase an American Girl doll. It happened to work out perfectly since Kaleb had a hockey game in Yorba Linda that evening we were able to squeeze in some shopping time at the Grove. Hannah had her friend Lydia come and help her pick out a doll and all the accessories. Two stories of doll apparel is a lot of stuff to look at!
The boys entertaining themselves on the escalators
All smiles after the purchase
Hannah's new doll
The boys got restless waiting for the girls to finish shopping.
Lydia and Hannah at the Grove
After the Grove we traveled south to Yorba Linda for Kaleb's hockey game and then got a bite to eat at Joe's Crab Shack! I had no idea that the kids liked crab!
I think it's a wonderful idea to have a playground at a restaurant!
They were able to get out all the energy and then come and eat in peace when dinner was served.
The balloons the girls ordered an octopus and a monkey!
