Baby Shower

I decided to throw a baby shower for my sister Megan honoring her new little one
SOPHIA LYNN!
Just want to thank everyone who helped make this day special for Megan & Sophia!
It was a lot of fun to get my creative juices flowing!
Here are some of the decorations I made

The candles I used as party favors for the guest to take home
I purchased them at Walmart for a dollar
I added a ribbon and put on a picture of a buggy with gems.

I found cute little green boxes with ducks on them at the dollar store and filled them with mints as party favors!

I made green and black flower pom poms to hang from the ceiling
I saw the idea on Martha Stewart
The zebra dress in the middle I used as the center piece was Hannah's
old dress. I took of the red flower and made a small green tissue paper flower to put on it.

My mom and I put together this clothes line
Hannah made the plate in the middle at Color Me Mine
I found little piggy banks at the dollar tree and tied them with green tulle to add some flair
I filled lots of clear vases and jars I had at home with green tissue flowers I made and tied ribbon around them.

The sign in table
I had the guests put their address on an envelope to make it easier to send out thank you notes.

My sister's friend Pam made this cake! It turned out perfect!

The dessert table
We served cake, brownies, and cream puffs
The cakes were so delicious
One was lemon and the other layer was chocolate with chocolate chips and a bit of orange flavor!
So YUMMY!

The food table
We served chicken salad sandwiches, 2 different kinds of salads, vegetables and dip, and pita chips with hummus

Lemonade with a splash of lime juice

Holly(future sister-in-law), me, Megan holding Sophia, Michele (my sister), and my mom

Hannah holding Sophia

I just love this idea of letters on the wall
