My sister Megan and part of her clan were able to spend almost a whole week with us at the beginning of August. We enjoyed swimming in the pool, playing Polly Pockets, making a slide for the pool out of a table, going ice skating, eating ice cream at Dewar's, roller skating, early morning bike rides, running, rock climbing, going to the Mcdermont Field House in Lindsay, CA, the beach, and we even found time to take a sewing class an make a couple of pillows.
On Tuesday, August 6th, the kids played outside in the backyard. This is a picture of Kalena, Lizzy, Hannah, and Sophia playing Polly pockets by the pool.
On Tuesday evening we went ice skating.
After ice skating the kids all wanted to go to Dewar's to eat ice cream.
On Wednesday we played in the pool again. This time getting a little more creative and adventurous. They made a slide out of a picnic table.

Wednesday evening we went roller skating. My sister and I were able to join in the fun because they let us push the babies in strollers around the rink while skating.
On Thursday we went to Ventura Beach. The kids dug a huge hole, played in the sand and water, rode the zip line, played at the park, and enjoyed Kona Ice.
On Friday we drove to the Mcdermont House. We enjoyed jumping in bounce houses, rock climbing, the flo rider, laser tag, and arcade games.
On Saturday morning Megan and I took a sewing class and learned how to make these decorative pillows.
