Noah's adventures

On Monday November 4, Noah called to tell me he lost his keys to his car and the house. He said he must of lost his keys while he was skateboarding at the college in Cedar City, Utah. He looked for his keys for two hours, but was unable to locate them. While he was looking it started to snow. He called a friend to pick him up and spent the night at their house. In the morning he went back over to the college and talked to the administration and told them not to tow his car and explained the situation. He then had a friend drive him home. Although, he didn't have keys to enter. He decided to try and see if he could get in through a window. He was able to get into the house and while he was taking a shower he heard a knock on the front door. So he quickly wrapped a towel around himself and went to the front door. Apparently someone thought he was breaking in and called the cops. He was trying to convince the police officers that he indeed lived there. They came in and called my parents (it's their home) and straightened out the situation. Noah called and asked me to mail him a spare key. So I went to  inquire about how much it would be to send a key overnight. Fed Ex wanted 51 dollars. I checked with the post office and they said they would mail it for $19.95, but because its a small town it wouldn't get there until Wednesday at 3:00.   I told Noah to pray that someone would find his keys and that I would pray too. On Tuesday he called and sent me this picture. Someone found his keys! Prayer works!

Noah got his dream job. He was hired to be a snowboard instructor at Brainhead Ski Resort in Utah.  He loves to snowboard and is truly at peace when he's participating in this activity.  I think his favorite thing about this job is that he gets a free season pass to snowboard whenever he wants.  About a week ago Noah texted me out of the blue and said I love you and miss you too.  I thought how sweet and responded with I love you too!  A few hours later he calls me and starts the conversation with mom don't freak out. Of course I'm freaking out, a million things are running through my mind.  He precedes to tell me that he is in the emergency room and that he had a concussion and that he was waiting for the CT scan results.  He explains that he was at work training and he fell and was unconscious.  I asked if he was wearing a helmet and he said yes, but the helmet had slid forward and he hit the back of his neck and head.  He said he couldn't remember where he was or what he was doing for a few minutes after the fall and that everything was blurry and looked like puzzle pieces.  He let me know that a friend drove him down the mountain and into town to the hospital.  He said he wanted to text me that he loved me earlier because he wasn't sure what was happening to him and he wanted to make sure I knew that he loved me.  So sweet and thoughtful.  Everything turned out okay and he was able to go back to work a few days later.
