Spring Break started out with Hannah & Kaleb going to their Grandma Nelda's house and Noah going to his dad's. Which left me alone to do some spring cleaning, help out at a primary activity day, and time to finish reading the Hunger Games. Sunday night my sister Megan arrived with her two daughters Kalena and Lizzy. My children also returned on Sunday night. On Monday we woke up early to go volunteer at the local food bank. We were able to sign up for the give a day get a day at Disneyland. I thought it was a wonderful experience which makes you appreciate all that you do have. The children also enjoyed working and taking lots of breaks. Hannah asked me, "Why don't we just shop here, all you need is a ticket and you get free food." I guess kids really do see things differently. Later that day my sister Michele arrived with her four kiddos to hang out. Luckily the day was beautiful and the kids even got to go swimming. I still thought the water was too cold for me so I just watched. After dinner we went out for ice cream and to the park to play for a bit too. On Tuesday the girls and Noah went shopping and the boys went RC racing with Richard. Richard was able to get free Condors tickets, so Tuesday night we went to the game with all the kids. I think we had 9 kids. On Wednesday Grandma Mary came to visit with two more grand kids. Wednesday afternoon we went to Pump it Up to play. Thursday my sister Megan left. In the afternoon we went bowling and to the movies with cousins. Thursday night I met my sister in Tehachapi to return her kids who had spent the week with us. Went home and packed to leave for the river in the morning. We love to stay busy...
The kids love when the weather is nice and we can eat dinner outside. Usually this only happens in the spring time because in the summer there is just too many flies.
