Today, October 16, 2010, I ran my first 5k for a boy named Tyler Schilhabel who was paralyzed from the waist down in an ATV accident. Although I don't know him personally he goes to my son's school and I thought it would be a worthy cause to participate in. I finished in the race in 28:19. I got 5th place for ladies in my age bracket and was 64th out of 142 overall.
