On Wednesday, October 20th I was able to take the cub scouts to downtown Bakersfield to meet the mayor and take a tour of City Hall. The mayor gave them each a really nice pen in a case with his name on it and a pin to wear that says, I love Bakersfield. He asked each scout to help the community by picking up litter.
