Kaleb has been hard at work practicing for his concert with the school choir. His efforts have paid off and he sounded wonderful at the Music Makers 2011 program which was held at the Rabobank Convention Center on Thursday, February 3rd, 2011. He looked so nice in his outfit with a golden bow tie and cummerbund, but he refused to let me take a picture of him with it on. The choir performed with the symphonic band and the string orchestra from all the junior high schools in the district. The choir sang
Oye La Musica, Ubi Caritas, Ticket to Ride, and
Shine a little Light. This is an event that has taken place for the past 27 years. After the two hour program we went out for ice cream at Cold Stone to celebrate.
