I have to admit I don't always know best. Hannah started 2nd grade this year and is struggling with the whole math concept. I've tried my best to be calm and patient in trying to teach her. I know it's only been one week since school started, but I'm already frustrated. Hannah put together her own homework packet at school and I'm wondering if she added too many pages to it. She has had so much homework for only the first week of school. The boys haven't had any. Hannah doesn't think that is fair. So, yesterday, I was trying to help Hannah with not only her math homework, but also her math classwork she didn't finish. After about 2 hours of whining, I had enough. That's when Noah step in and said, Hannah, I'll help you. I thought ya right, she doesn't listen to me, she's definitely not going to listen to you. I was wrong, she finished that math page in a few minutes. What am I doing wrong! Noah said, Mom, you just have to take it one step at a time! Such simple advice.
Thanks Noah for giving me a break!
