Have you ever bought something and wondered, "What I was thinkin!" Well, on Friday, the Guitar Center was having a sale and I sent my husband over there to buy guitars for the boys while I was getting a hair cut. I was thinkin' an acoustic guitar, my husband was thinkin' an electric guitar would be better.(He won) I know that there are many benefits of learning to play an instrument, (like kids who study music do better in school, it increases SAT scores, improves skills across the curriculum, and prepares youth for the future, just to name a few benefits). I know you can't be good without practice, but in the meantime I need Tylenol and some ear plugs.

Kaleb will also be learning to play the clarinet at school this year.

How fun! Tell Kaleb I played clarinet for 7 years (I haven't touched it in 12 years) I have a few collecting dust in the garage. I always want to pick it up and play, but now I fear it has been too long. Kaleb might have to re-teach me! :o) I love the look of the guitars too.
