Hannah has been practicing for months. The day finally came to perform. On the car ride to the auditorium, Hannah kept asking me what she should do if she tripped or made a mistake. I told her if she tripped to just get back up, smile and continuing dancing. After the dance recital I asked her how she thought she did and she said,"Mom I sat down too soon and when I looked around the other girls we're still turning, so I jumped back up. That's always so hard when you know they know the routine and yet they forget a part. As a mom you always want your kid to do their best. I didn't want to make her feel bad, so I said I didn't notice that she made a mistake. I'm so proud of her for just continuing on with the the dance, that takes courage. Afterwards we went out for ice cream. Richard bought Hannah some flowers and Hannah said, "You bought me the same WEEDS last year." She actually thought the flowers were called weeds. She definitely makes us laugh. SILLY GIRL!
