Family Reunion....Pirate Style

This year our annual Waldron (my mom's maiden name) family reunion was held in St. George, Utah on August 6th. I really wasn't planning on going because I knew Noah would be working and Kaleb would be coming home from Scout camp on that Saturday. Somehow my husband rearranged his schedule so he could take care of the boys, so Hannah and I could go. Hannah and I drove to Henderson on Thursday night to my sister Megan's house. We stayed the night with her and then drove with them the following day to St. George. This year my mom was in charge of the reunion. We all pitched in and helped with the pirate themed event.

I made the schedule for the day

My sister Kenzie had these cute shirts made for us.  Each family was assigned a different colored shirt which made it easy to tell who belong to whom. The kids really enjoyed dressing up and matching.

Hannah just loves holding her cousin Sophia.

My sister Kenzie was in charge of games.  We played minute to win it games with everyone.  It was fun and entertaining to watch too.

 Cheering for  your team!

 Gil & Jil's family

 Rick & Audrey's family

We had a triathlon to compete in. Which included shooting a basket ball with an ice patch on, rock climbing, and swimming with only one arm.  I think it was fun to get everyone involved.

Hannah just loved rock climbing, she pretty much hung out here all day.
By the end of the day the workers were pulling them up the wall and letting them glide down.  Poor boys doing all the work!

For those who didn't want to compete there was a huge indoor swimming pool and water slides.
