Summer Fun... 1st week of July

It's been a long time since I've had a moment to sit down and write on my blog.  I guess I've been enjoying summer way to much and of course I never want it to end.  I'll go back to the beginning of July and try to catch up on what we have been doing.

Saturday, July 2nd, we had a little BBQ and swim get together with Ben & Holly and their kids.  My mom was also able to spend the weekend with us too.

My kids love to put on a show.

Kaleb posing after his performance (notice all the dollar bills hanging out of his hat) what a silly boy!

On the morning of the 4th of July we woke up early and met friends at the park for breakfast.

Later in the afternoon we tie-dyed shirts.

In the evening on the 4th of July we were invited to our friends home for a BBQ and fireworks show.

Noah playing with sparklers.  I always thought these were the safer choice for the 4th of July, apparently not.  Noah was waving these around and a spark flew off and landed on his towel which was in his lap. It caught on fire and luckily Noah noticed right away and was able to stop it.  It did leave a hole in the towel, but we are grateful that's all that happened.
